Usually 53,000~56,000 buds are needed to fry 500 grams of high grade Maojian tea.
The tea soup of Duyun Maojian is very characteristic of the region. Under the ecological environment of high altitude, low latitude, little sunshine, many clouds and good mountain water, the freshness of Duyun Maojian is reflected very directly. In China's traditional ten famous tea, Duyun Maojian tea has six of China's "most": the highest altitude, the most uniform precipitation, the most clouds and fog, the mildest climate, the highest forest coverage in the tea area, and the best tea growing environment. These good environmental factors constitute the basic conditions for the excellent quality of Duyun Maojian tea.
