About Guzhang Maojian tea

Guzhang Maojian tea produced in Guzhang County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan Province, is named after the place. Guzhang is one of the famous tea producing areas in Hunan Province, with a long history of tea cultivation, and the tea produced has been listed as a tribute in the Tang Dynasty. Guzhang County is located in the Wuling Mountains, not only high mountains and dense forests, good ecological environment, and the soil is rich in nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium elements, very suitable for the growth of tea trees.

In 1929, Guzhang Maojian won the West Lake Exposition Quality Award, and in the same year participated in the French International Exposition and won the International Famous Tea Award.

How to brew

It is recommended to brew in a thin-skinned lidded bowl with a water temperature of about 80℃ and a high brew at the lower pitching point. The first bubble 15 seconds out of the soup, you can brew 4 bubbles, each bubble increase 5 ~ 10 seconds steeping time. The aroma of Gujang Maojian is high and the overall aroma is fresh grass and leaves.
