Glacier Huibai from Mount Fuzhi

At the border of Shengzhou and Shangyu, there is an 861-meter-high Mount Bu Gobao, where the climate is mild, with four distinct seasons, humid and rainy, and a large temperature difference between day and night, making it very suitable for the growth of tea trees. The most unique thing is that the fourth season glacial zone of Mount Bu Gobao makes Shengzhou Hui Bai tea better in texture, with cold aroma and fresh fragrance, and the aroma remains after brewing for many times. It also lasts longer than other green teas, and after years, the color and aroma remain the same, almost like new tea. Therefore, it is named "Glacier Huibaii" by local tea farmers.

Shengzhou Huibai is a rare pearl-shaped tea among green teas, and it can also be called Qian Gang Huibai, Quan Gang Huibai or Shang Wu Shan Huibai depending on the local production area, with Shang Wu Shan Huibai being the best quality. Shengzhou was a part of Yuezhou in ancient times, and the tea produced in Yuezhou is of high quality and has a long history. Shengzhou Hui Bai was created for more than 100 years and was listed as a tribute in the late Qing Dynasty.

How to brew

Use a glass to brew. The water temperature is about 85℃ and the first brew is 1 minute. Because Shengzhou Hui Bai is a pearl tea, the inner quality is richer, so you do not have to wait for the leaves to fully unfold before drinking, otherwise it will be slightly bitter and astringent. It can be brewed 1~2 times more than normal green tea.

  • Water temperature: About 85℃
  • Brewing method: Top pitching method
