About Liu'an Guapian tea

The plucking of Liu'an Guapian is different, not picking young buds and leaves, but choosing spreading strong leaves, so the flesh of the leaves is mellow and the taste is also strong and mellow. Liu'an Guapian is the only green tea in China that does not pick stems, buds and leaves, and is also called "Piece Tea" because it is made from a single raw leaf. Lu'an Guapian is a national historical tea and one of the top ten classic Chinese teas. The "Liu'an tea" mentioned several times in "Dream of the Red Chamber" is not Liu'an Gua-chip. Liuan gua slices in Cao Xueqin's time has not been officially produced.

Liuan tea refers to the general category, under which there are many names, and Liuan Guapian is only one of the varieties of tea under the general category.

How to brew

It is most suitable to use white porcelain bowl for brewing. The water temperature is about 85℃, no need to wash the tea, and use the medium throw method. After brewing, the aroma is high and persistent, the soup color is transparent and bright, the color is yellowish green, and the taste is mellow and thick.
