About Yunnan green tea

Special green tea

Yunnan green tea, also known as "Dian green tea" and "cloud green tea", refers to Yunnan roasted green tea, and is distinguished from Yunnan Pu'er tea. Among them, there are common tea products, and there are also tea products with better quality named separately. Yunnan green tea was originally a traditional product of Yunnan, but because of the general market demand for pu-erh tea, the area producing green tea is now tilted to the northwest of Yunnan. The biggest difference between Yunnan green tea and other green teas is the selection of large and medium leaf teas for production, resulting in an unusually rich water extract and extremely rich tea broth, making it a special presence among Chinese green tea.

The famous "Luboke tea"

Luboke is a place name, located in the vast Wu Liang mountains, in the Yi dialect is "the place where the tiger is infested". Li Zhenglin, the former director of Luboke green tea factory, is a respected tea man. In 2006~2007, when Pu-erh tea was the hottest, some tea areas and tea factories turned to Pu-erh tea production, and the old factory director Li Zhenglin still insisted on making good green tea. It is also the perseverance of this nearly 80-year-old man that the quality of Luboke green tea is superb, with a thick, rippling and deep aroma.
